My Approach
I use a variety of evidence-informed therapeutic modalities that best fit the client and the presenting issues. I have post-graduate specialized training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) as they relate to depression and anxiety.
I am committed to creating an environment that is warm, compassionate and non-judgmental as I become a partner in the client’s journey of self-discovery and empowerment. I check-in regularly with clients to ensure that our sessions meet individual needs at a pace that is comfortable for the client. Clients are presented with workable strategies and encouraged to practice skills between sessions as a way of building a toolkit designed to improve coping and resilience.
